Sad day for music......

I remember him playing Met Park on July 4th 1988, That's when my now ex and I got married and went there to celebrate to some good friends and good music.....

Very sad day indeed. RIP
He was 83 ???  Dang --- he had a full tour lined up this fall, including St Aug in November

The Chinese are wiping us out, 1 singer at a time.

The Chinese are wiping us out, 1 singer at a time.

He died of a hemorrhagic stroke.

But still, to hell with the Chinese Communist Party!

Exactly, hemorrhagic stroke or better known to the Chinese as HS-20.  Just ordered my mask to combat this even stronger disease.  Word has it I just plug it into an outdoor water faucet and I'll never go dehydrated (i would have said spigot but that sounds racist for some reason).

Growing up in Pittsburgh, we were always partial to this song ....

'Cause we'll all stick together
And you can take that to the bank
That's the cowboys and the hippies
And the rebels and and the yanks
You just go and lay your hand
On a Pittsburgh Steelers' fan
And I think you're finally gonna understand
And you never did think
That it ever would happen again
(In America, did you)
You never did think
That we'd ever get together again
(We damn sure could)
Yeah, we're walkng real proud
And we're talkin' real loud again
(In America)
You never did think
That it ever would happen again
