The only dudes running wide open are the defenders in his face.

Gotta disagree here. Chark was way open and GM tosses it short for an INT. There had to be at least 4 or 5 plays where I saw a guy open and Minshew panics and takes a check down.

Maybe some of it is the West Coast system of short passes and check downs intended to get YAC, but gotta think some of those shots are there to be had and he's either not seeing em or just not taking em.

Chark had 14 targets with 7 catches (for like 45 yards) Sunday. Chark is open plenty, Minshew just ain't getting it to him cleanly.
Chark also was playing through an ankle issue.
But yeah I see Cole open and being missed by Minshew too.
DJ was open all day Sunday and minshew wasn't able to pull the trigger or find him. Also with chark you should be giving him numerous opportunities to make contested catches downfield but minshew tends to stay away from those plays (Titans pass not withstanding)

Here's two quick shots/plays which say otherwise. Both should have been easy TDs yet GM was off by miles when Chark was wide open. I mean just look at Laviska looking up at the football like what in the hell is this throw...

Another TD missed because of GM. Chark again smokes his guy and is wide open..

The WRs were running wide open all game long.
