Perhaps he didn’t get the year right. 2006 was the year we were 8-5, then lost the last three to miss the playoffs. I remember Garrard throwing pick sixes like crazy. It probably wasn't as bad as I remember, but I remember it killing us in those last few games.

I remember the fumble game. Denver could have won with a field goal but they were trying to spot the ball in a good position, handed it off and the RB fumbled. Jags recovered, we won 7-6. I had to look it up to remember all the circumstances.

Yep, that 2004 home opener was great.  A loss was inevitable and I remember just sitting in my seat watching the clock run down, knowing they had a good kicker (who would have had to hit a 40 yard field goal).  Still not sure how they botched that play when they were just attempting to spot the ball in the center of  their field at the 23 yard line.
Did anyone see the 62-7 game last night?

I'm not in Jacksonville, so no, but I remember that game well. It was 38-0 before Marino completed his first pass. The Brackens fumble recovery for a TD was hilarious. He didn't realize that of all the people who landed on him, none of them were on the Dolphins. Fiedler throwing bombs to Alvis Whitted. The sprinklers coming on.

What was wrong with Miami that day? Overworked in practice all week after barely surviving a west coast trip the week before?

I was there, it was a glorious day to be a Jag's fan. I actually felt bad for the 'fins by the second quarter. I remember joking to the people around me, saying "hey, maybe we'll get to 50", never thinking we'd score as often as we did.  Miami was a better team than they showed that day, it just snowballed on them. It happens. I try to not remember what happened the following week.  Sad

Holy cow! I have rarely seen such an annihilation- especially in the playoffs. The Jags leading 38-0 with 12 minutes left in the first half is still hard to believe. The Dolphins seemed to just quit when it was obvious they had no chance. This game was enjoyable to watch again- especially all the big plays. Fred Taylor's 90 yarder for a touchdown followed shortly by his amazing run on the screen pass from Brunell were both incredible. His moves on both plays were on the level of Barry Sanders and Gale Sayers at their finest. Having two skill players like him and Jimmy Smith made the offense hard to stop. While watching them eventually pass 60 points, I remember saying that they should "save" some of those points for next week's opponent in the Championship game. Unfortunately, that negative thought came to fruition against the Titans in the most disappointing game in team history. That team should have won the Super Bowl with all the talent they had!

One thing which I had forgotten was that Tony Boselli did not play due to a torn ACL suffered at the end of the regular season. Although Ben Coleman seemed to fill in admirably, one has to wonder whether the outcome of the Titans' game would have been different had he played. Injuries are inevitable, but to lose such a valuable player is difficult to overcome against a great team like the Titans.
Sucks to have DISH who is in a squabble with Fox 30. No broadcast or resolution in the foreseeable future.

I guess I could get it with an OTA antenna but I can't record it to DVR.

Yup, one of the most one sided games you'll ever see.

I live in Washington state and I watched it. They show them on/at - https://www.jaguars.com/live
Taylor could have ran for 250 against Miami in that game. Brunell could have thrown for 500 and Smith could have went for 250.

We pulled starters in the 3rd quarter with 10 minutes to go.

Don't forget Alvis Whitted and Chris Brown getting in the endzone. What were the odds of that?
Jags Broncos 97' currently on FOX 30. Natrone Means, Brunell and J Smooth carving them up. Willie Jackson!

They could have installed pinball machine scoreboards that day.  Had they played the starters full bore, I think they could have hit 100.

I was confident we'd win, but I wasn't expecting THAT!

I had a lot of fun that day!
Jags oline chewing up the Bonkos D line. Tylski and Coleman with some great blocks. Even those two are better than any of the clowns we have today.
