Minshew:  Damn near perfect game 95% completion, 3tds, 0 ints
Robinson:  70 yds on the ground and 28 in the air with a great run
CJ Henderson:  Ramsey WHO?
Jack:  Made a couple of dumb plays but made up for it with some great ones
Gruden:  Hell of a game plan
Defense: Made a couple of key 4th down stops.
Gruden
Minshew
Henderson
Gruden

AND, the defensive line, who stopped the run today.
The secondary needs work but overall I'm happy with this team.
Added the defense to the list. They made a couple of huge 4th down/4th quarter stops that swung momentum.
A game ball to the rookie class...they made an impact. Robinson, Shenault, Johnson, Henderson, Claybrooks, Hamilton, and Chaisson all had contributions.
heres one no one menttiontted. the int by Wingard put jags in great postion to get points. without the fg a td would've won it for colts. with the fg colts needed a td to tie.
Jack had 11 tackles!!!
Josh Jones got credited with 12 tackles!

Jones?
Lambo Has not missed in TIAA BANK since he was signed by the Jags!!
Lots of players made plays out there today.
+ 2 turnover margin=7 point win
Abry with the big 4th down stop.
Minshew was the picture of consistency and looked to be in total control of the offense-I was vey impresssed on how he threw to so may different receivers.
OL play was very clean today with only 1 questionable call-the unit played a very good game collectively.
Robinson allowed the team to move the chains and keep the clock moving.
CJ Henderson was lights out highlighted by a pick, a 4th down stop and a couple of beautiful open field tackles.
Lambo was mr automatic .
Jones, jack and Shobert were flying all over the field with 12, 11 and 8 tackles respectively.
Wingart made the best play of his young career with the crucial pick.
Jack - He made alot of tackles from his new position, he did lose contain on the screen plays and some missed tackles on runs. But he gets a game ball for somthing where he showed a maturity he has no shown in the past. When the player got up and flexed in his face he did not react jaw back or say a word, he threw his hands up and walked away. Last year at this time he punched a guy for getting in his face and got kicked out of the KC game, and he was always getting 15 yrd penalties for stoopid stuff. That showed a lot of growth from Jack and impressed me a lot.

This is pretty good.  My only complaint with Gruden was on the 1st and 25 series.  He goes short right, short middle and short right.  That's not going to cut it.  Otherwise, it was largely a good game plan.  I don't know if they did enough for game balls, but others earning recognition include:
  • Lambo for being perfect on field goals including a 50 yarder and perfect on extra points.
  • Jones for having 12 tackles.  Harrison who?
  • Chark, Shenault and Cole for each having a touchdown.
  • Wingard for his interception.  It was one play, but might have been the difference in the game.
Game balls - Lambo, Minshew, Robinson, Henderson, Shenault, Wingard, Jack, Schobert.

Our D-line was a little bit of a let down. We got whipped most of the day as far as giving up a ton of yardage and Time of Possession. The D as a unit did enough to win and close the game out. I was just hoping we'd be more disruptive up front. Oh well, the Clots have a pretty darn good O-line.

This might be the best O-line they see all year. They did pretty good all things considering.
Jalen Who? I will take CJ everday over the former drama.
Wingard deserves a shoutout. Coming in off the bench and getting an almost game clinching INT.
Gruden, Minshew and Lambo get game balls from me.
