Henderson had a bad game but he's a rookie and played well the first two weeks so perhaps he'll bounce back. But the entire secondary got tore up this game.
The play from the safety position is just not good.
No rush and secondary guys out of position too often.

Guess a good name is holey crap.
Or dump and flush.
Something to do with [BLEEP]

I thought Allen's production would fall off sharply, but it's even worse than I expected. You can't take away 2 of 3 pass rushers (Ngakoue and Campbell) from an elite defense and still be effective. He has no edge rusher on the other side drawing attention and no inside pass rusher helping as well. It's all on Allen and it isn't working. What happened to the 3-4 looks we were supposed to be mixing in this season? With 2 smaller, quicker pass rushers like Allen and Chaisson, it seems to me they might be more effective playing off the ball as OLB's in certain passing situations. Try something! The soft zone, base scheme is failing miserably.

The lack of pass rushing personnel has really exposed Wash's lack of creativity and ability to deviate from the system he learned. He's a stubborn mule and only brings vanilla five-man blitzes with Myles Jack well into the game after it's readily apparent the four-man rush isn't working. Dom Capers would be the right coordinator for this defense at the moment. A creative blitzer is needed to generate surprise when the personnel is lacking. Put Adam Gotsis and other non-rush factors into zone coverage, while blitzing through other gaps, because they're not going to ever touch the QB anyway.
Josh Allen is bad right now. He has one sack on the season and that was a lucky one.

The fact that some of ya'll are surprised that Allen is struggling (and that the pass rush in general is terrible) is hilarious. Some of us tried telling you all months ago this was going to happen.

While I agree I knew he would be worse but I had the wrong reason. I thought he would be bad because he was getting double teamed.  He is not beating one on one blocks.  He had a rookie Tackle last night whip him most of the night.

He's drawing a LOTTT of attention from opposing Oline's though, tbh idt i've seen him singleblocked once, he's either getting doubled, chipped, or protection slid towards him. He's the only pass rusher worth his salt on the roster and NO ONE is capitalizing on the resulting single blocks except for Chaisson once in week 2.

I wouldn't look at the statline and say he's "bad" I think teams have just realized that he's the ONLY guy they have to block/gameplan for and we have no answer outside of him to get after the QB.
