The untold truth of this election boils down to Record Minority support for a president that has improved the lives of black and brown people vs. a cross section of suburban white women who virtue signal about helping black and brown people.

Somewhat related, I think too much stock is placed in the "suburban woman". Let's be honest. the majority of spouses vote the same way. If a female supported Trump at any time, there is nothing he has done to ultimately lose their support.

Rates of marriage are down. There are way more single suburban women than there used to be.

"Record minority support" still amounts to a small minority of the minorities.
If, for some reason, a white person decides it's best to vote the same way black and brown people vote, they will vote with the Democrats.
But frankly, I don't think any white people really think that way. "I get to think of myself as less racist" is just icing on the cake after they've already decided how they want to vote. L

I don't think you can generalize about why Trump is losing suburban women. I would guess that some of them don't want their kids looking up to such an egotistical, lying, bullying narcissist, who pays off porn stars to keep them quiet and brags about grabbing women by their private parts. And a lot of them just don't like him. He's not a very likeable person. Character counts for some people. He's a man of low character and obnoxious. That's not a good combination.
