Sorry.....don’t know how. I just googled  ny jets message boards....their is only one. Then click on the jets vs rams game thread
How is the SOS determined? Like is it based off not just past opponents records but also future two ones remaining? Meaning we could still lose the #1 spot even if us and the Jets still don't win another game?
They are quite pissed... it does kinda seem like reading a Jaguars thread though? anyone else get that feeling?

No.

If both teams lose out, we have the #1 pick.

NO MORE WINS!

The tie breaker would be based on strength of schedule

But good for the Jets for at least getting a win and not having a completely winless season. I don't think any team wants to have a season that bad, I believe it can be very demoralizing.

Also, the rams lost a good opportunity to help their playoff hopes/seedings. Jared Goff being a bit shaky didn't help the team.

Now it's interesting to see what will happens next and how it will affect draft position/decisions.. Doug Marrone has said he won't declare who will start again for the Jags next week. They have Chicago, which I think was a game they maybe could win. Though the Jags have been playing poorly overall, so they may lose that game and lose out regardless of who the QB is.

The Jets have to play against the Browns and Patriots. I could see the Browns beating them, but I could Bill Belichick resting starters in the last game against the Jets. The Patriots have just been eliminated from playoffs contention and have nothing to play for. So maybe the jets could get one more win and stay at the #2 spot, while the Jags keep the top spot.

And Interestingly enough, I actually think that if the Jets stayed at the #2 position they might continue to roll with Sam Darnold and maybe not take Justin Fields. Especially if Gase somehow manages to stay around for another season. Justin may not end up with the Jags or the Jets.

if the Patriots are out of it why would they rest players?
The Jets fans are dumping all over Jacksonville stating Trevor would rather live in NYC than a backwater. There's one important factor they are forgetting and accounts for the reason half of their population ends up living here:

No
State
Taxes
1. Put Luton in (sell it like were evaluating him)
2. Put Ozighbo as our starting RB and put Robinson on the bench with limited reps.
3. rest Chark.
4. rest Jack.

Lawrence will be ours... arrow points up.

Did you just imply Belicheck would bench his starters to help Lawrence end up in his division?

Why I do have a feeling he might actually end up staying around longer, lol?

Also, lot of people are speculating on places like Twitter about what may happen with Sam Darnold, if they Jets stay at #2. I really do have a feeling they may keep him and maybe do something else with that pick.

If he benches his starters that increases the chances of the Jets winning and Trevor not ending up in his division. Which would help the Jags chances of keeping the #1 spot, and drafting Trevor. Bill Belichick potentially benching his starters against the Jets, increases their chances of winning. Which would help the Jags, not the Jets. I don't know where you two are getting that I implied that Bill Belichick, would want to keep Trevor in his division. You must have misinterpreted my post.

I think they take Sewell if they stay at 2.  I know Cin. will try to trade up for Sewell though to protect Burrow

Maybe so. I'm not sure if they will move off of Sam just yet. I could see them doing that if they regained the #1 spot and could draft Trevor. But if they stay at #2, maybe they actually keep him. Sam has shown a lot of regression this year underneath Adam Gase, but he's also been put in a rough situation. And sometimes I see moments like today that make me think he could fare much better if he had a better situation around, him. They could start with getting him a better head coach, though for right now they are still holding onto Gase.
