Here it is... Doug doing something he should’ve done long ago. He’s probably not allowed to fire Wash because Shad is trying to cut costs and he doesn’t want to anyway because they’re bologna buddies. However, having someone else call plays sets up Wash being demoted the rest of the year. The new play caller doesn’t have a high threshold to meet to keep Wash sidelined.

Who says he really has covid .... with Marrone he definitely has it or was exposed, other coaches would be a built-in excuse to have a coach sitout.
