The guy got teams to NFC conference games and a Super Bowl with Colin Kaepernick as his starter.

I don't think the ratbirds will let him out of his contract right now.
Wrong Harbaugh Jim coached SF.
Usually not a fan of retreads, but I believe this would be a great hire. He was a great NFL coach. I think his worst season was 8-8. That is actually extremely impressive
No
Hard to think of a worse hire.....

No it's not, we've had three of them in this very franchise with the last three choices we've made.
We need a unique lizard person as our hire so we can break down some barriers. Think of all the press. Can we sign the Vanderbilt kicker too?

I want the best coach and GM regardless of the non-football side. I'm hoping Khan doesn't go this route to help the NFL.

Mike Mularkey, Gus Bradley, and Doug Marrone for starters.

Proven track record of NFL success, even with an average QB. He drives his teams and helps them perform to their best. So why “no”?

Smh... Some people just don't get it. Trying to understand this guys 'no' comment is essentially pointless.

I'm with you.  I would most certainly be down with a Harbaugh and Fields tandem next year with Minshew the backup (because he's awesome!). Although, Wilson is gaining traction as our 2nd overall pick... Let's see?
Anyone is better than the last 3 clowns..

Then after three years they hate him and the team falls apart and he packs his bags and goes elsewhere where it happens all over again.  This is what is happening to him in Michigan.

It depends upon who ends up our GM.

If it's Trent Baalke...then no.  Jagman mentioned the 49ers hating Harbaugh.

That was Baalke, even though they went to a Super Bowl together.

if someone else is our new GM, then absolutely I consider Harbaugh.
Why do we want to hire someone who is getting fired from somewhere else?
As Bullseye mentioned, Baalke being in the building might be an issue. He and Harbaugh's bad blood is what drive Jim away and tanked the 49ers.

College is a different animal from NFL. No free agency, and recruiting barriers. Michigan is a good program, but they can’t recruit and compete against Alabama/SEC, Ohio State, etc

He’s proven he can coach professionally.

I don’t foresee Baalke being retained but you never know
