James was definitely deserving of making the Pro Bowl this year. It's unfortunate that he was snubbed. Hopefully in the future he will make it.
Everything about the pro bowl is dumb. The game is worthless. The player selections always snub a few obvious candidates. The entire thing should be eliminated.

Who deserves it is JRob. His year would actually be so much better if it weren’t for a flag being thrown every time he gets a TD or long play. I can’t even count the amount of big plays called back on him. Has to lead the league in that by a wide margin.
There are some obvious ways to make the pro bowl more interesting for fans and players.
Right now, the coaches are from the team with the best regular season record in each conference who did not go to the super bowl.
To make it more continuous with the playoffs, it should be the coaches who lost in the championship game, and their entire team should go with them. So they get to run some of the same game plans they're used to.
Then the best player from every other team not in the super bowl gets added to the roster. So every fan base has at least one player to watch. Local media picks that player. That way James Robinson isn't snubbed.
Then the best player at each position, as voted by the other players, gets added to the roster.
Each player gets whatever their regular weekly salary was for the game, and it's doubled if they win.

I'm surprised there is going to be a game this year. It's a meaningless game and Covid is running rampant across the country. The NFL has already had too many issues with having to reschedule games. This is just stupid.

There isn't a Pro Bowl this year. At least not a game anyways.
Pro Bowl is a relic that needs to be buried. Not even sure the player really care either. Superbowl champions or bust!
Everything else is just a participation ribbon.
Just do a selection of the players who are designated as “Pro-Bowlers” for their position
Get rid of the actual game, which is idiotic and no one watches
