You’re not wrong.
Was saying on 1010xl, one thing Baalke like to do is make trades
I know that we all have high hopes, but Khan doesn't care about winning. He can lose games and still make money, and making money is all he cares about. Urban will sell tickets and help him get Lot J approved. If it doesn't get approved, he's going to move the team. The Jags record doesn't matter in this scenario at all.

The only thing I hope and pray is that Baalke has learned over the years

Cleaning house, with the exception of a few position coaches, should have been the expectation. Baalke might be good, but I feel like starting over was/is important.

I don't like it.  Norwell is a former first team all-pro that under-performed under Warhop.  Linder was once viewed so highly that he was made the highest paid center.  He under performed under Warhop.  Neither Robinson or Taylor developed to a level expected by their high draft status.  Cann might have made some modest improvements last year, but that's still an overall terrible record.  This is not "elite" staff.

I'm expecting him to keep Wash.

Not elite, just typical Jags. More of the same stuff we've had to deal with for the last 15 years or so.

Me too. Caldwell wasn't a terrible drafter. He was hit and miss. His problem was that he couldn't keep the guys he succeeded with. Baalke just isn't a good drafter.

Urban must have some comfort level there. He isn't going to keep anyone who is not his guy or at least someone he knows, knows their stuff. Or maybe there just aren't O-line guys out there that are available that he feels will do better than what we have? I still feel confident he will build a quality staff. It is what Urban is known for.

It's not surprising though. There was no way any good GM candidates were going to come here knowing they'd be playing 2nd string behind Urban.

this is likely very true, or Urbz had a short list of folks he would work with and forced Shad's hand.  Either way, it stinks pretty badly.
I give this 2 years before it all implodes.
I'll let you know after FA and the draft

Because he is keeping Warhop? lol

I'll blindly take this guy that helped turn day 3 pick Bakhtiari into the best LT in the game over the guy who has statistically been proven to be among the worst oline coaches of this generation.

There has to be a reason that both Marone and Meyer both like Warhop.
Marrone probably had to because he couldn't get anything but the worst since it was obvious it was a lame duck situation. Meyer probably just likes that he has a quarter of a century of experience, ignoring the fact that it's been a quarter of a century of ineptitude.
His surname is the reason Warhop is staying.
Yes, let's retain a guy who was fired from his previous two jobs for allowing the most sacks in the league.
The DC will be the most important hire imo behind Urban. I really hope we get a 3-4 guy
Jags allowed 10 sacks last year, oline play wasn’t dominant but thats not to bad considering the qb play.
