I don't think AluAlu being in the game is going to make anything worse, so we want to convince ourselves he would make it better.

If he's out any longer, we're going to need to extend the rebuilding period for another year.  He was a critical part of our 3 4 5 6 year rebuild.
News flash. The run d wasn't good when he was playing.
Quote:We lose some of that Seattle South edge when Alualu's not in the game.

Seattle is becoming Jacksonville NorthWest.
This whole thread is depressing.

This whole board is depressing.

Quote:The Jags record since drafting Alualu is 27-71 .... pretty solid.

Just think of how bad they would be without him.  He was a critical part of those 2 wins back in 2012.

Is there a player in the league with as many snaps as Alualu who has a worse record?

Marcedes.
I saw a list the other day of coaches with worst winning percentage through 50 games in NFL history and we had TWO former Jag coaches on there. Couldn't make this stuff up if I tried.

Quote:Marcedes.

I don't think so, Marcedes had a few good years under Jack.

correct -- Mercedes was actually 30-34 prior to Alualu joining the team in 2010.

I'd go with Gabbert.

Alualu got the benefit of an 8-8 season in 2010

I hate to say it but Paul Posluszny?

From his draft to the Bills to when he left in FA, the BIlls were 24-40 overall, though a bit better at 16-29 in games he played. No record better than 7-9

Since he joined the Jaguars, Jags have been 19-63 overall, and worse at 16-54 in games he played. No record better than 5-11.

Total career, His Teams Record: 43-146 (0.295)

Total career, Games played: 32-115 (0.278)

More concerned about the Tyson Alualu of head coaches we have running this team.
Marcedes has played well this year actually lol.

Wew that is bad.

He's been a bright spot in an otherwise underwhelming O. Bortles shall rise again, beginning on Sunday. He is going to look spectacular v. Bamamore.

Bortles has had no trouble finding Lewis and Thomas; 13 catches, 200 yards and 2 TD"s between them. It's the WR's where the problems lie.
