Did PFT ever interview him while he was here?

Honestly, though, I appreciate that he didn't. The home crowd is a LOT more familiar with the Smith-McCardell tandem, and that would have placed some lofty expectations on some young guys trying to establish their own identities. I just hope we don't regret letting him go, but interested to see if new voices can bring any new aspects to our roster's game.
