I like this kid. I still think TL is the better of the 2, but I wouldnt [BLEEP] and moan if we wound up with him

We have the first pick.  We wind up with anyone other than Trevor Lawrence, barring catastrophe, it'd be a very bad move IMO.

Agreed completely.
Wilson is so dynamic it will be hard to pass on him even though Trevor is there. I think both players will be good but I think Wilson can be a super star like Mahomes/Rogers.

Assuming conventional wisdom holds and the Jaguars and Jets take Lawrence and Wilson 1-2, their success will be wholly dependent upon each team's ability to put surrounding talent around them.

So far, the Jaguars have a head start in that area, but both teams are deficient in the talent area.
my original post was meant as if something happened to TL...I remember things happening just prior to the draft that made top rated players slide...Like reports of some kind of misconduct, cheating on tests, criminal activities and some other kinds of bull [BLEEP]...I dont recall who or what things have been reported, but some have been domestic violence, underage drinking, undisclosed disciplinary actions in school and such...I dont see this as a problem for TL. and fully expect he will be picked number 1 unless something as described above were to happen, and probably still would be drafted #1 unless he got hit by a bus or something, but IF something did happen Id be ok with this kid.

It’s not easy to draft a FQB something tells me Wilson is going to be the best one. You are completely correct that we would need to surround him with better talent. However, when you have a natural quick release and can make off platform throws with the velocity he does it’s a special thing that translates well to the NFL. Lawrence reminds me of Josh Allen and Wilson reminds me of Aaron Rogers. That’s the difference imo
