Yeah, that'll work. You don't need to know the intricacies of the cap, but you need to know enough about the cap to understand why teams do what they do because the cap impacts all of a team's personnel decisions. It is the author of a comprehensive, long-range personnel strategy and I think cap-savvy fans have an appreciation for that kind of planning the fans who avoid knowing the cap don't.
He was very wise when it came to cap implications and management, and helped me especially to understand that side of the game. I know we've lost a number of posters over the years, but I miss him a ton.

Seeing this also makes me a bit concerned about rollerjag. I haven't seen him here in months. Anybody know anything?
Yeah, DF as well.. Hope he didn't clog himself to Kpop off a cliff somewhere..
Rollerjag had chronic health problems. I hope he's okay.
Hopefully DF found a woman and is doing better things with his time.
