What is it about Brown that bothers you? I thought he played well for the Ravens last year.

The dude is on his 4th and final year of his rookie contract (drafting in 3rd round 2018).  As such, he'll be demanding big $$ next year as a free agent.  Basically a 1-year rental unless you levy the franchise tag on him.   Our focus needs to be primarily on 2022 and beyond since this year (2021) is more about gaining experience and building a good foundation of players on their rookie contracts that will carry through until the end of 2024 and 2025.

It's a small sample size and he was playing in a fairly unique and very run-centric offense.  We don't know if he would do as well in a pass oriented offense.

And me personally, I don't have any interest in getting a guy who is forcing his way off of a good team because he doesn't want to play right tackle.
