I'm really hoping we have a 2016 to 2017 type of turn around. I don't think anybody in this fanbase thought we'd go from that pile of crap team in 2016 to AFC Championship. If Lawrence gives us a Herbert like rookie season, James Robinson gets better, ETN ends up being a Kamara type back and our Defense even gets 10% better I could really see us in the playoffs. This division is not good.
Making the playoffs would be amazing. For me, I'm not sure what to expect yet. I think after the first few games ill recalibrate my expectations based on what I see. However, I do expect us to win many more games than the 2020 season. I would say around 8.
It’s a hugely different team than what we saw last year. Anything could happen.
It’s difficult to make a decision on what this team will look like and how many games they will win this season. I think we will have a better understanding after we see the preseason games and a small snippet of what this team will look like. If I had to predict the games we will win this year at this point, I put the over and under at seven games
I am excited for Trevor, that's about it. Elite QBs mask a lot of wrong with nfl teams, if he's that guy that's our saving grace. Otherwise you are staring at a 1-15 team that didn't get much better over the off season. Expectations? Low. Very, very low.
As a Jaguar fan since the beginning, I learned long ago to have no expectations and to have only very limited hope.

We're definitely better at QB and much faster/better in the secondary than we were last year.
Areas of concern for me are the run defense, the pass rush, the offensive line and TE.

Not that he's going to get hurt and retire early, but that we have the wrong guys in the front office and at head coach and Trevor is going to be so good that we win 9-10 games a year anyways so they hang around and we never reach the summit.
Since I have stated many times that I have disagreed strongly with virtually everything the new regime has done thus far (aside from drafting Tlaw), I will give them credit for this. I don't think I've seen anyone else post about it. It was well known that one of the reasons that Tony Khan moved on to Fulham and AEW is because Caldwell and Gus Bradley rejected analytics and told Tony to sit in the corner and only let him work on UDFA. Well, it appears that the new regime is going to greatly improve our analytics department. Kudos to them for that.

I don't think we need to worry too much about the run defense. Brown is one of the best run stuffing NTs and Hamilton will be a great rotational piece. RRH is a mammoth human who should be very plus as a run stopping 3-4 DE, and Tufele's calling card is also run defense despite being a bit undersized.

Well until I see the run defense actually stop someone, it'll be a concern for me. Seeing all that rushing yardage surrendered last year scarred me.
