Then explain the Cincinnati Bengals of 2020 who went 2 and 14 the previous year and drafted Joe burrow. Their reward was to get a Thursday and Monday night game in 2020. On the other hand, the team that drafted one of the most decorated college quarterbacks in the last 40 years and one of the greatest college football coaches in the history of the sport don't get no more than a Thursday night game?
After Bulleye’s response to my original comment, I went back and looked at the Colt’s 2012 schedule, Luck’s rookie year. They got 1 Thursday game as well. If Luck was only able to squeeze 1 prime time game out of the NFL suits, I don’t feel as bad as I originally did.
Oh yeah...preseason...

I wonder what these soccer clubs think about American football teams coming in and tearing the ever loving hell out of their pitch.
I think the Wembley deal ended in 2019 but was expected we would extend but nothing yet. The NFL were using Wembley and Tottenham Hotspur's stadium to host games but just Tottenham's this season.
Should be interesting as they sell season tickets for each stadiums games and are yet to announce ticket details. Looks like the UK fans are about to learn how the NFL treats it's already paying fans.

All due respect with your mindset why worry about the schedule release for this team at all especially when we know who the opponent for this team was months ago? People pay attention to the Primetime games because we as season ticket holders want to go to event instead of a normal Sunday game.

No I won't because we went to the AFC Championship game in 2017 they screwed us on next year schedule too? If you want to keep being delusional about the situation instead of accepting the reality that the NFL hates this team and the City.
Lol,I like the early games on Sun. personally so I'd be ok with no prime time games. That's said, when we had really good teams through 2005-2007 we were getting prime time games, same with our teams in the late 90s
I think some people are forgetting how consistently bad this team has been for a long time. Let them win some games with TLaw and see how many prime time games they get the following season..

I’m still on cloud 9 about just having Lawrence. Everything else is icing.

lol if we only win 1 game again next year Urban needs to be shown the door. I don't care if it was only after 1 season.
Even Gus was able to pull out 4 wins in his first year with a FAR, FAR worse roster.
I was also thinking. Part of the issue with the Jaguars getting prime time games is also their division, especially currently.
Not many people outside Houston, Indy or Tennessee care about those teams because of the markets and the "reputations of fan bases". Especially with only like Derrick Henry as star player in the division (who is does not have an off the field incident situation). Also the intra-division rivalries are not that well storied as in other divisions.
When that takes up 6 of your games, there are less options in some weeks that may have been an opportunity.

I don't actually think they'll win one game.
On a better note, tickets for the Bengals TNF game acquired!

Congrats on the tix, but explain this please.
You don't think we're better than Houston?!?
At minimum, I think we get a split with Indy and Houston and beat the Jets.

Final Record 6-11
I would be stoked to see this team start off 2-0. Denver will not be easy.
Overall...6-11 sounds about right, though obviously I would hope for more wins.
Not sure we can beat Atlanta though. That could be the highest scoring game of the season for us.
I meant I disagree with Mike Clay that we'll only win one game. I think we win several more than that.

Oh okay.
I think if we can somehow manage to stop the run, we can get a split with Tennessee. I think it'll be harder for them to pass on us than it has been in the past.

We were 1-15 last year. We've had losing seasons in 12 out of the last 13 years. We are in one of the smallest media markets in the league, and we are one of the newest franchises. We're not going to have a big profile.
The toughest stretch of the schedule comes after the bye week.
we play:
10/31 at Seattle
11/7 Buffalo
11/14 at Indianapolis
11/21 San Francisco
11/28 Atlanta
12/5 at L.A. Rams
12/12 at Tennessee
THAT is some stretch!
So realistically speaking 1 to 2 or even no wins after the bye week this season? Yikes!!!

Without seeing how the new look Jags actually play yet, I predict a maximum of 3 wins in that stretch. Indy, Atlanta, Tennessee. And those are 50/50.
How is this a last place schedule?
AFC is the worst division assembled in NFL history. The Colts had a NFC East history but they got hosed by Miami. Honestly if you swap the Colts and Dolphons last alignment this franchise would have been more successful during JDR era. Imagine Peyton getting Brady v Belicheck 2x yearly instead.
NFL headquartered in NYC sucks. Goodell is a political goon and cares not for small markets. This team by sucking so bad for so long has a mountain of a reputation climb.

just wanted to give 2 small exsamples. as for the rest of the games we are not sure who thier starting qbs will be either. I pray, and hope no one gets hurt, but that happens in the nfl. sometimes a player gets hurt, and a gem is found as a qb. exsample tom brady like or hate him he is a great qb. if drew bleedsow didn't get hurt brady wouldn't of been found. lets not forget jack delome ,when rodeny pete got hurt vs jags nad delhome cam in to win game, and take team to super bowl. biggest one though is its way to early,we haven't even had a pre-season game. no offensse intende o-line matters
