Just thought the board may like a 40 speed reference by position (at skill and LB positions).  Times are by available priority at combine, pro day, and then NFLdraftscout estimate.  There are differences between locations/surfaces/conditions, so take the times with a "grain of salt"....

Isn't ward a 3-4 DE? He's almost 290 lbs? Same for Smoot. He was at least 280 lbs. last season and he looked bigger.

For Baltimore, Ward initially was the DE (interior in the base 3-4) playing behind Derek Wolfe. In Indy, Ward was initially listed on their depth chart as a 3-tech DT. He should not have been on the list as an Edge. I have heard Smoot referenced as able to play both interior and on the Edge.

Lawrence is such a stud running a 4.78
Didn’t Anquan Bolden run a 4.71?

And look at Chaisson with that 4.69 and he’s an OLB. Wow
