Fowler was traded in mid-2018. He only had 2 sacks in that half season with the Rams. As you stated, he then did very well and had 11.5 sacks the following year. The following year (last year), he only had 3 sacks with the Falcons. In answer to the original question, I would characterize his play as having been very up and down.

A fair assessment. He had his best years when he had lots of surrounding talent.
I wonder what he could have done had he not blown out his knee and had he played on a more talented team.

Don't forget, if Khan would have won the bid to buy the Rams, most likely we have another owner and most likely the Jags are no longer in Jacksonville.
Weaver wouldn't have sold the team to someone who wanted to move it out of town.

Khan doesn't have to keep the team here but if was planning to do it, he doesn't give any indication of it in fact, all evidence is to the contrary.
