The Roar needs to diversify... I believe men are not equally represented... Gus would be a great fit in one of those Jaguar print bikini tops with a set of Pom-Poms. He could cheer all he wants and it wouldn't cost us anymore games.
Is he fired yet? The only thing that would make a Monday good.
Here is a nice breakdown on Gus season by season in what I consider "preparation" time. That is the start of the season when you have all of the offseason to improve and plan for new talent and the draft. Also included is the bye week preparation. I also threw in our 30 Point losses. Honestly if you used 20 points as a judgement on preparation you would see that we are even further from competing week in and out.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA this made my morning
i wonder what good coach is going to want to coach this team after the previous coach is now dubbed "worst in history"
Let's remove 2013 from Gus and the team and the picture is still bleak.

I was wondering if we ever won a September game. I forgot about the Miami game last year. But a 1-13 record in September is beyond horrible.
Quote:Haahahah, this is embarrassing.
It is. All the same question all night at work.. "man.. what happened with the jaguars?.." Me lookin like dopey gus with my draft day hat, still rockin it strong and almost proud. Not quite.
The article stated "The Jaguars went 4-12 in Bradley’s first year, 3-13 in his second and 5-11 in his third. "
Based on the trend above, we'll have a perfect season in 2037 !!! If you all don't want a perfect regular season in 2037 go ahead and fire Gus. I'm patient ... I'm riding the Gus bus to 2037 !!

Who is going to start the next head coach of the Jaguars watch list? Who we got?
Coughlin again? Josh McDaniels? Sean McDermott? Jim Mora Jr?

It's obvious that they're not good when they prepare. Instead of studying film on the opponent, they may be better off just having a Netflix Movie Night
Absolutely humiliating. The last sentence really is the cherry on top.
I am TIRED of buying all this Jaguar gear and just getting humiliated every year.
I am TIRED of getting excited and ready for every season to just get let down because of one thing or another.
I am TIRED of wearing my Jaguars jersey and just getting made fun of because my team is absolute garbage.
I LOVE the Jaguars and will always support them. But its so hard. And honestly, it makes me not want to watch anymore football once I see my team being the joke of the NFL for yet another season. We are just a little bit more respected then the Browns.. and that is not saying much at all.

It would be poetic for Coughlin to come in and win a Superbowl now that he finally would have a true franchise QB with him here. Would need to hire him with a succession plan, though, because he's no spring chicken at this point.
Quote:He should be a special teams coach ONLY. Their job is to stand around and clap.
That is funny!.....and so true!
I'm really partial to Cowher.. I wish he'd hang up with microphone and come coach the Jags. Never gonna happen, but I can dream..
Quote:I've been a Gus guy from day one. Love the culture he wanted to build. He got players to buy in. He even got fans to buy in, for the most part. We all gave him a pass for the first couple years, because Joe Gibbs couldn't win with the talent this team lacked in Gus' first two seasons.
Preseason should've tipped us off, but many chose to just look past the TB game and brush it off as an aberration. It wasn't. The team wasn't ready to play then, and it wasn't ready to play yesterday. That's on the coaches. And, unfortunately, it appears that they're beginning to lose the locker room. I do feel badly for Gus, because he's a likeable guy. But, I think it may be time for a change. See what Olson can do for the rest of the season and let Hackett run the offense. If it sucks, blow it up at season's end.
I do agree to elevate a coach on the coaching staff this year to provide continuity for the rest of the season, then evaluate the results and that will determine the next move for this owner
Maybe Khan can throw a blank check in front of Bill Cowher and tell him to write in his yearly salary.
Quote:i wonder what good coach is going to want to coach this team after the previous coach is now dubbed "worst in history"
I think we do have talent to compete and next year with improvement on the oline this team should be competing for the division. So a coach may see this as a good oppitunity. Another plus is the owner providing Gus so much time to start winning a rare thing in the NFL today.
