The Steelers continue the overhaul of their o line with the release of former Pro Bowl G David DeCastro, and signing free agent guard Trai Turner. This means at least four of last year's starters along the offensive line will be replaced this year.
Though last year's line was putrid for them, I can't see them being too much better this year. Their GM has reportedly characteristics the o line as a multiple year project.
I can't see them being overly good this year.
This will serve as another test of the conventional wisdom about the importance of continuity along the o line, as the Steelers represent the second AFC playoff team from last year to completely or almost completely rebuild their vo line in one off season.
Hopefully the Steelers will suck this season. They are wa too past due for some bad seasons.
