It depends on what history you are talking about.
If you are talking about being one of the few going from worst to playoffs with a rookie coach and QB... possibly.
If you are talking about being one of the few teams to earn back to back top overall picks...also possible.

I think they'll be better than we expect, but making history? Not so sure about that. The trajectory is heading in the right direction, and hopefully nothing derails that because this team is on the cusp of a turnaround.
The team will be far more competitive this year than they have been in recent years. There's good talent on both sides of the ball, and a significantly better coaching staff pulling the strings behind the scenes. Hopefully that all comes together and things click quickly. It will be far more entertaining to watch, that's for sure. Whether that amounts to a huge leap in the W column remains to be seen.

Agreed, though it would be quite difficult for the team to NOT be headed in the right direction, considering we went 1-15 last year. I suppose we could have gone winless last year, but there's nowhere for this team to go but up.
I hope you are right about the coaching staff. Still not a fan of Warhop, but I am excited about Cullen and the former Gator and Louisville coach on defense. Offensively, I sure hope Bevell learned his lesson from the Super Bowl, but I think he is underrated as an OC.
