Sacks - 18
Yards - 6,683 yards on defense
Rushing 1st downs - 80 
Opponent Rushing 1st down - 140 
Total Rushing yards offense - 1519
Opponents Total Rushing yards - 2452

Rushing attempts - 337
Opponent rushing attempts - 517, it was no secret how to beat the Jags in 2020

We had 12 interceptions on defense 

The Jags had 9 rushing touchdowns and we gave up 25 rushing touchdowns (wow)

Turnover Ratio was -8

For 2021 we have to get that defensive sack number up. Something in the mid 30’s. And man, we have to stop the run. Last year was putrid. They ran it down our necks last year. If we can just be average in this department it would help us.

Robinson was a beast last year but as a team we only rushed for 80 first downs while giving up 140. It can’t be any worse than 2020 can it?

And then turnovers. We wasn’t terrible at turning the football over but getting more than 12 interceptions seems very doable.


Any stats stick out to you guys?

All of them.

The run defensive numbers are particularly demoralizing.

Though I do not want to put too much on TL,  if he is what we think he is, we will move the ball more effectively, score more points, be in more games, and have more leads.  That alone will result in fewer rushing yards allowed and more sacks as team try to catch up.

Restocking our secondary the way we did should also help the defense.
