But since we're on the subject, I have Taylormade irons and M2 driver, but not acquired together. The irons were free from a travel miles points redemption. The driver my kids gave me as a Christmas gift a few years ago. I would like to do a custom fit as well. The clubs I have now are ample, but feel I could do better. The Taylormade irons are the Speedblade high launch, and it shows. I hit towering shots. Even the 4 iron gets up and I don't particularly like it. I'm sacrificing distance for height. With the set of NIke clubs I had previously, which were stolen, I was getting up to a club length more distance for each iron. I miss those clubs.

Right now I'm struggling on a down cycle with my driver. Every so often my driver swing goes sideways and I have to figure out why...again. Rinse, repeat.

Why would you steal Nike clubs? Couldn't you find something better? j/k

You must have a very high swing speed if you are towering a 4-iron. People usually CRAVE height on longer irons. Personally, I took the 4-iron out of the bag and use more hybrids. The game is already hard enough.

Those Nike clubs were awesome. Someone recently let me swing one of their Wilson Staff D9 irons and I really liked it.

The reason I get so much height is because the club heads are bent for an extra degree of loft, or the kick point on the shafts is situated low. Thus the High Launch moniker.
When the 4 iron comes out, it's because I'm going for distance. Getting it up high robs that length, especially if there's much wind. With these clubs my 7 iron goes 150. I could hit that with the 8 iron using the Nikes.
Let's go, Louis Oosthuizen. He's one of my favorite players. If I could magically duplicate any swing in the world, it would be his.

Oh, God, yes.  That's the kind of swing that will last until he's 100 years old.

And he is now a fellow Floridian as he bought a huge amount of acreage in Ocala.

Early on will be interesting to see if Rham can get hot. Speiths putter seems to be letting him down and Morikawa is a wild card, but has won a major.

If the weather were going to be bad, I'd be a bit afraid of the score Koepka is about to post, but it won't be enough.
You have to love Shane Lowrey.

Either the PING G425 or TM SIM2. Need to get in the simulator again with both of them. What about you?

I might try the Cobra since Bryson loves his driver so much too Smile

Sure I do. I'm a registered absentee voter in Florida. I don't know the ins and outs of welfare, but I assume you could refuse it.

My point is that BOTH should require an affirmative request.
Louis’s wheels came off. Looks like a battle between Morikawa and Spieth.
Goodness! If ya’ll want to derail a thread make it about fishing please.
