Not much production over the past 4 seasons and bounced around several teams. Unfortunately, he has become camp fodder, emergency fill in off the street if needed later in the season.

True agreed..
Why?
but we can still use him as a practice squad guy..
Special teams guy? He was a pretty good return man at one time.

There was 6 WRs out of practice today, they need some bodies to catch passes.
Lightning fast but made of glass and 7 on the Wonderlic.

Why did you even bring up the wonderlic ? It has nothing to do with catching passes, speed, agility, acceleration, etc.

Why would you be upset about someone mentioning it? Do you think football is just a bunch of pass catching, speed, agility, and acceleration drills?

Cause he dumb
Tavon Austin has looked good in camp, from the start. With ETN possibly out for the season, does Tavon's skills/abilities/quickness make him now more of value to keep as a receiver/slash player?

I drafted him with the last pick then dumped him for AJ Green. Almost think he has more value than Neo Gio; my second to last pick…decisions decisions

The signing and its timing suggest they have him in mind to potentially run at least some of the routes they were planning for ETN.

I like him as a decent replacement for ETN in the slash role, and now hopefully James Robinson gets all the up the middle runs this season instead of pounding ETN into the line. Austin is even less of a RB than ETN, so the roles should be more clarified. Austin is the jet sweep, third down, delayed hand-off guy.
I like this hire, fast switch guy. I know he had never lived up to his draft spot. But he catches well and could be a great utility player.
