What player would you take in round 1 ? I left Myles Garret off, because I honestly think he will go number 1 and he won't be around for us to draft.

I'm voting for Adams. He looks like the safest choice, just like Ramsey was last year.

I want Fournette and then OL. Seems I'm not alone.
I can't even make a consensus to pick a player in the first round. This is a great opportunity for Marrone and Coughlin to draft a player that will define the future of this team outside of the QB position, which I think is underappreciated. I think they need to get a weapon on offensive and improve the O-line, but there will be players on Defense who are prototypical Coughlin players. Fournette and Howard are "old-school" players in RB and TE, which could be the pick if they want to build the team that way. Adams or a DE would also be a good fit based off what the Giants have done in the past.

I went a little non-traditional here and selected:

1st Round:  O.J. Howard

2nd Round:  Joe Mixon

#33

Round 1: Derek Barnett

Round 2: Deshaun Watson

The OJ Howard and Joe Mixon would be a good haul...I just don't think I could bring myself to draft Mixon, guy has some real talent tho.

I went Fournette and OL

After that I'd prolly go Def

Screw it. I'm on the Deshaun Watson train. I'll admit it.

Watson round one, BA-Offensive lineman in R2, and BA running back in round three.

The rest of draft: BAP.

Round 2: Deshaun Watson
I'd love to get Watson in the second round. I think he'll be gone by then, though.
Best Rb, then best QB.. Then best OL

Went with Fournette then OLine in 2. But would go BA in 2

Sounds decent

This ain't bad tbh. Just not sure if we'll take him with his history. I'd be ok with it though.
Fournette at #4 or trade down.

Best OL in 2.

If a QB like Mahomes slides into the third then take him, give Bortles some competition.

Watson at 4,8,34 don't matter as long as comes to Jacksonville.   Unfortunately the Bears are ahead of us and want him too.

That's all I want to see.

He does not fit though.  Your taking a power running back.  With hardly change of line.  And a shotgun qb and saying.  Okay Fournette do the same as LSU.   From farther back and with faster linemen coming at you.

If we fixed our oline. I am all for Fournette.  But we didn't.  And Campbell and Albert are on only 2 year contracts.  If that.  He is not Peterson, Taylor, or Jackson,   His vision is poor so not Sanders.

He has monster physical traits and nothing else. In a offense he won't excel in.  at 4?   And people wonder why they laugh at us.

id like to see a trade down, grab barnett who actually looks like a 4-3 D end on tape, has the college history to back it up, only got better each year in college playing against some of the best Olinemen each year, and grabbing mixon/whatever running back ends up falling as well as OL. If Barnett is off the board, take the OL from Wisconsin. Cause our OLine seriously needs help. It worked for the cowboys, seemed to work.for the titans last year when everyone though thier Olinemen was a reach...

Excluding only Garrett who won't be there, my top prospects right now in order are...

  1. Solomon Thomas

  2. Jonathan Allen

  3. Jamal Adams

  4. Leonard Fournette

  5. Malik Hooker

  6. Christian McCaffery

  7. OJ Howard

  8. Marcus Lattimore

  9. Reuben Foster

  10. Forrest Lamp

That said, in an ideal draft involving a trade down I'd would love end up with...

1a. McCaffery

1b. Lamp

2a. Njoku

2b. Peterman

O-line and o-line. We should draft what we need and we need an o-line.
