No, I don't. I'm 50 years old and have never even been arrested. I haven't even got so much as a speeding ticket in over 25 years. It's pretty easy to avoid being arrested. Just follow the rules.

There are different types of transgressions that are non-violent and/or do not involve a falsification of the truth, which sometimes result in felony convictions. Negligence is a good example.

I’ve never received a speeding ticket. You just have to know when and where to speed and to keep your eyes peeled. I’ve made the Pensacola to Jacksonville run in four and a half hours.

I have. It's just been over 30 years ago, now that I think about it. The last speeding ticket I received was when I was 17 years old. I was late to softball practice and was clocked going 76 MPH in a 35 MPH zone, which was right in front of the ball field. The cop wrote me up, threatened to take me to jail and yelled at me for like 45 minutes, all while my friends looked on and laughed. I still have an incredibly heavy foot to this day, but one benefit I have is living in a very rural area. You rarely see cops near where I live. People out here tend not to call the cops. We take care of issues ourselves and there are tons of country roads with no traffic. I only go into the city when I absolutely have to and when I do, I am very careful.

It's called punishment for a reason. Redemption is rarely ever attempted from what I've seen. In my experience, criminals continue doing what they do and become repeat offenders. I believe in taking away the voting rights of felons, but non-violent offenders should be able to earn them back after staying out of trouble for 10 years. However, if they get another felony after earning back their voting rights, they should lose them for life. That would be fair.

Worse is arriving in your new state, complaining about how much you hate the new place and never understand why you had to move.
I like the ideal of restoring voting rights but I don't like the lie of non violent offenders. I guess no one ever pleas to avoid the time associated with the violent stuff.
