First off whoever proof read that should be fired and second, how about we teach the truth instead of putting political slants on things. Teach both sides. Yes there have been some great things about this nation but there have also been some really terrible things done by great men.
Yeah. We don't need a more patriotic approach to history. No 1619 project. No 1776 project. Just teach history. That's sufficient.

I agree totally.   Facts are facts.  What happened happened.  There's no need to put a spin on it or to try to make it fit your current political narrative.

I agree.  Colleges/universities should go back to teaching students how to think instead of what to think.  That goes for education in general.
