Lol, I thought we were talking out Etienne? You're pulling old articles from other players. I just gave you the recover time period for Etienne, look at the Ian Rap tweet I just tweeted. He's young and has more than enough time to recover before the start of next season

Oh right, I forgot Rapoport was a doctor and he was the one who did the surgery and all that.
I am guessing you need an explanation of what I posted, shouldn't be difficult to understand so if you don't get it...
BTW not even Doctor Rapoport says ETN will be back at 100% so you don't really know that.

Recovery is 4-5 Months and no way to know how it will effect him until he can start running and pivoting again. but cause of age and new age science i am sure he will be back to at least 95-99% of his old self.

I know you don't want Etienne to be 100% next year but he names the actual foot specialist in his post, Dr. Robert Anderson. So I'm sure that recovery time came from the Dr. instead of Ian just making a time up in his head, use a little common sense.

More like one first rounder and a mid rounder that we spent a first rounder on.
A mid rounder lol, you sleep Etienne, you don't know how good dude is. There were 2 elite backs in this past draft and we got one of them.

The problem is that with recent Lis-franc's that we've known of, players haven't come back even close to 100%. ETN is young, and he had the surgery right away, so I for one am hopeful he will return to top form. But you can't blame the skeptics - history isn't completely in his favor.

And he just suffered an injury that has ruined many a running back.
You are confident his age and resilience will prevail, and it might, but that is not as guaranteed as you are assuming it is.

The Dr seems confident if he gave him 4 month recovery. I didn't see the x-ray but to have a 4 month recovery it might not be as bad as some thought.
I think it would be reported that it could be career threatening or he will never be the same again if that was the case. Every injury is different, I think these reports would be a little different coming out.

Just picked him in my keeper league with my last pick. If I hold onto him all year, next year he costs me a 15th round pick.
Good move?
Good move?

Eh, if you keep him over other RBs it will be worth it. It would be better if you picked him at 15 next year.

Making guys like Meyer your GM is how you waste a generational talent at QB.

Taking a running back, the least valuable position you can draft, to be a change of pace back/receiver was bad drafting. The injury likely ends whatever effective career he would have had, so you can pretend taking a change of pace back high wasn't the height of idiocy, and it was just bad luck in injuries, but he would have had to be a pro bowl level change of pace back to justify taking him in the first round. At this point we can call it what it was, a clueless coach doing something he never should have been in position to do from the start.
Anyone else thinking he takes someone very similar to Etienne high in next year's draft, now? Because, you know, the problems protecting the QB are because the team needs more "explosive playmakers."
Soooooo now Meyer is clueless? This Meyer bashing is getting really old, but the only way to quiet it is to win games. Jags over Texans 31-13 GOOOOO JAGS!!!
