Since the roster has to be cut down to 53 in just 2 days, we should start to see movement fairly soon.
I hope we take advantage of the waiver. Something Caldwell never did even when we had one of the worst teams in the league. When you have one of the worst teams in the league the better teams will be cutting players that's better than yours

Except for the reasoning that the other four guys you think they will keep are the same player. Cottrell has a different dimension to him. He's not especially quick, not blazing fast and not bulldozer strong, but he does things the others do not.

Personally, I think it's Robinson, Ozigbo and Cottrell as the top three and they keep an extra WR since LaViska can handle some of the Etienne plays.

WR is the skill position with deep talent.  RB and TE are OK and terrible respectively.  Do not cut a good player to keep a bad player at another position if at all possible.

Post cut claims could change the balance, but I am keeping 7 WR and playing some of them in hybrid roles.

Treadwell hasn't earned a spot.

Eh, I have read good things from the people who attend practices.

Would you rather have Tyler Davis/ Ellefson as a 4th TE or try to make Treadwell a hybrid? Or throw out Treadwell, would you keep your number 7 WR over your number 4 TE?

Right now It looks like they keep:
Chark, Shenault, Jones, Agnew, Dorsett

I would really like to keep Johnson based on what he showed last year plus offering great height and special teams value.

Cotton or Hammond could have done enough to push Johnson out.

Treadwell has not done enough as a pure WR, but he offers more than our number 4 TE today. If someone else comes in off waivers that could definitely change.
The lack of playing time for Camp today tells me they're going to try and sneak him on the PS. They didn't want to put extra tape of him out there for other teams, but I still don't think it'll matter. I still feel like he's going to get snatched up by some team. Hes got the H/W/S and athletic numbers that teams are going to want to try and develop.
Richardson will make the team

I don't think so. Something tells me he's gonna get sent packing.

Agreed. I expect us to add a TE and possibly a speedy RB to replace Etienne. I could also see us adding a DE/OLB given how thin we are at the position and how ineffective our guys have been this preseason. We might possibly add an O-Lineman, although this is a long shot since most teams don't cut O-Linemen with any measure of talent at all.

I dunno.

Meyer was speaking glowingly about his performance today in postgame.
