Dems' reconciliation bill has $6B transportation 'slush fund' that GOP aide warns could fund backdoor earmarks
Transportation Committee Chair Peter DeFazio's section of the bill includes $6 billion for Buttigieg to spend on undefined 'local surface transportation priorities'

The whole reason we have an executive branch is that they're supposed to have a better sense of immediate priorities than Congress. 6 billion out of 1.5 trillion is less than 1%.
Congress is saying they know 99% of what needs to be done, but there's this 1% they're leaving up to others.

First of all, the "pipe dream" reconciliation bill is not $1.5 trillion it's more like $3.5 trillion. It's pretty much your party's "green pipe dream" bill.
More of what's in the regime's spending bill.
$15 million for "resource centers for older people with sexual orientation or gender identity issues".
$3 billion dollars for "tree planting and 'tree equity'". You know... because poor urban areas don't have the same number of trees as more wealthy suburban areas.
$300 million for "more frequent federal government 'environmental reviews'". More government red-tape for businesses to deal with.
