We always have a stupid penalty or bad play at the worst times. 19 straight losses. The NFL record is in reach. We are the bad news Jags
Cant give up 300 yards in the second half
Burrow was the difference. He played lights out
Bengals adjusted. We stayed the same. A tale as old as time.

Agreed. He looked like a man possessed the second half
Horrific play call on 4th and 1. Putting the QB 7 yards from goal line rather than 1yd away under center is absolutely idiotic! Then to run an option play; stupid.
That play cost this team the win.

It’s been a long time since I watched with anticipation until the last 4 seconds of a Jags game. I was entertained.
The Jags have 1 takeaway on defense.  There are no playmakers.  Myles Jack has regressed.  Josh Allen is going nothing.  Chaison is doing nothing.

This. Allen just isn't good and Jack has regressed
Jags D played well in first half. They got gassed though.

Jags had a lot of problems with their up-paced offense.

they also isolated some of the DBs in the second half. Jags did not respond.

Still think Jags played their hearts out.

Next up. Stopping Derrick Henry for 4 Q's.

I thought the DL and Jack played well.
Need to be able to play for 4qs

Simple as that
We won’t possibly win until London. After that idk when.
Living in Ccentral Florida during the Bucs first two seasons, I attended a handful of those 26 losses at the old Sombrero AKA Tampa Stadium. And I will say without hesitation that we are a bettter team than that 0-26 Bucs team. Dont see us breaking that record.

Looking at the schedule I do not see a game we are favored in

Looked more to me like the Jaguars defense kept leaving guys wide open, and had a guy playing corner that shouldn't be on an NFL field that they selected first in the second round.

The Jaguars had a huge time of possession advantage in the first half.

How did the defense get "gassed" sitting on the sidelines? Don't be intellectually lazy.

This is true.  But, teams need wins to keep their spirits up and we need one really bad.

My top reactions to the game are:

1) Trevor continues to improve.
2) We need another major offseason investment in defensive backs and pass rushers.
3) It's a long season and we can't have these kinds of injuries or the talent we can put out there will be seriously degraded.

I know we're upset about losing all these games, but if we want to find something to be optimistic about, then we can look at the big picture, and remember, what was the most important question that needed to be answered this season, and it was, do we have our quarterback, and it's looking better each week on that front.
How did the defense get "gassed" sitting on the sidelines? Don't be intellectually lazy. = when the Bengals went up tempo in the second half the D got gassed. It was obvious to everyone but you.

The Bengals scored on a 4 play drive to start the second half. Was the defense "gassed" at that point?

Their next drive was 12 plays. Was the defense already "gassed" at the start of that drive, or did it happen at some point during it?

If they were already gassed  after the first 3rd quarter drive then keep in mind at this point in the game the defense has been on the field for 25 total plays through the whole game, not even up to what a defense would expect to face in a normal half of play, which would be something like 30 plays.

So the Jaguars defense is so weak that facing 25 plays over a period of about 2 hours is more than they can be expected to defend?
Bad posters come up with bad threads.

I don't know how in the world you could have watched that game and came away dejected. Trevor's maturing at a blinding pace, we are competitive, the team is learning how to win.

Young teams make mistakes that lead to losses. The light bulb is going on, though. There are flashes where you can see the future of this franchise. In time, those flashes are going to be the every down state of play.

I don't give one flying fart about the losses record, you can't hang most of those on the present team. In fact, I'm perfectly fine if we end up tying or even breaking the record. That will make the success we're about to enjoy that much sweeter.
