So we're attacking the owner now? Even though we've replaced the GM, HC and the entirety of the coaching staff except for the OL coach. So we're not going to give the new regime a chance to right the ship?

Yeah, Khan is not the problem. Who hired Meyer? Who hired Baalke? Who hired Bradley and Caldwell? Who kept those 2 way longer than they deserved?

If we lose to Miami, we could lose every game this year. But I’d like to see bevell gone too. I know that’s easier said than done because who do we place them with. But I’m done with these two right now.

Knowing Khan he will probably make Bevell the HC  Laughing

There is no apparently about it.  They are a second division team, essentially, a CFL team.

And to clarify, they were relegated to that division under his ownership. It kinda works like that in soccer, there are different leagues and if you suck enough, you get put into the "second league" . Shad Khan is probably the worst owner in all of sports, its not even close.

If this team can somehow lure Kyle Shanahan away from being HC of the 49ers to be the OC here, I, for one, would consider this Urban Meyer Experiment a massive success. Probably the best thing Khan will have ever done for the product on the field.

Agreed, though I was watching talking heads and wrote Shanahan when I meant Brian Schottenheimer.

Anything to get Bevell out of calling plays

Replacing the GM and HC were good moves.  The problem is that he replaced them with the wrong people.  It isn't hindsight either.  At the time, I would have preferred any of the other GM and HC candidates over the ones we got.

I'm not big on firing mid-season.  They'll get the year, but given that we are 0-5 with four of those losses being by double digits, I would definitely start researching candidates if I were Khan.  With the resources available to the new regime, their performance is unacceptable.

Honestly I am surprised he is keeping us here. Guess COVID kind of put the brakes on the moving rumors. Keeping Jags in J-Ville is a pretty big deal to me.

With all this losing, I'm wondering if Khan will get tired of owning the team and decide to sell it.   Problem is, if he sells it, it will probably be to someone who wants to maximize his investment by moving the team.

We've seen other owners go through long stretches of losing, but finally get the right people and turn things around.  Maybe that will happen here.

This is a hobby for him that provides a very nice return on investment. As long as it keeps making him money there’s no reason for him to sell.

The moving rumors have been around since the team started. The fact that Shad has kept it here is what makes me thinking it's not *all* about money. If it were, he'd have just paid the penalty and moved the team to London by now. Jax has a good fan base and if the team were frequent contenders, they could raise prices and sell out the stadium easily every year. I think he and Lamping recognize that potential and it's what's keeping the team here. For now. Lease is up though in 2030 I believe, who knows what happens then.

Well, that and the fact moving a team to London is a near logistical, financial, administrative and legal impossibility. It sounds good for the Jaguars bashers, but in reality it will never happen for this team or any other.

The biggest reasonable fear is if San Diego decides it wants to build a nice stadium to draw a football team back.

Or St. Louis if they decided to get back in the game. I have family still in the area who believe SK will eventually relocate there.

It's sad....so sad.

I for one am voting with my feet.
And thank goodness I didn't listen to my emotions and buy season tickets this year.

After the drama of past coaches during Khan's ownership ....what the heck is the answer?

So glad to hear that you finally woke up from that coma.

I think we need to discuss what you missed this summer. It's been wild. You won't believe half of it, but I promise, it's all true.

GM: Malik Boyd
HC: Brian Daboll
I still want Byron Leftwich here. He was ALWAYS known for his football IQ. He also is obviously very familiar with the Jags organization. What do we have to lose lol?

Oddly enough, he wasn't even afforded the privilege of calling his own plays.  Similarly, Garrard was only allotted 1 alternative play when coming to the line of scrimmage so if he didn't like the play call, he could audible to only 1 other play that was predetermined.
