An Order Of Protection Didn't Stop Him. A Revolver Did

I’m not suggesting, by the way, that people who are in fear for their lives not get an order of protection. They do have their utility, but for those willing to violate them in order to commit acts of violence, a protective order is merely a piece of paper and not a suit of armor worn by their victim.

I had to have a restraining order on someone back in the 90s. They're good for covering your [BLEEP] legally and having something on record but that's about it. They're a joke if the offender has no regard for the law and/or LEO can't/won't respond when the offender shows up, and/or the victim doesn't call 911.

My offender came after me and I beat the [BLEEP] out of him with an ironing board. Good thing I didn't know where the iron was.
