His comments is nothing but a diversion. Simply trying to get the heat off of the play or lack of, of Philly.

Don't give him the ball if that's what it takes. You ever see Rodman or Ben Wallace play?  There are ways you can make an impact without scoring the basketball

Sometimes it's just better for a change of Scenery.  It's like the Ramsey situation.

I've spent a few months in Philly. The only football town those guys are eligible to make fun of is Cleveland. At least Jax has some nice beaches.

Jacksonville joins Santa Claus, and of course, the Eagles, in the realm of things Eagles fans hate. We'll live.

Hard disagree, he's under contract (for the max no less) for 4 more years. He has no leverage, this is the Yan situation except if Yan was actually paid. if you're trading an all star to pair with Embiid-Harris then it either needs to be an all star player or a good enough 3rd option that will mesh well with them. I don't know that that's been offered.

If McCollum, some role players and 2 1sts were offered i'd take that as McCollum as a 3rd option who can really shoot and ball handle would mesh really well with Embiid-Harris. Or if they can get a 3 team trade with the Kings & Cavs to try and end up with Buddy Hield, a PG (Sexton or Garland) and then other picks or role players to fill it out. Those 2 trades would make the Sixers every bit the threat the Bucks, Nets & Heat are as it would help their spacing, shooting, and overall backcourt play.

But if they're being offered trash returns because other teams think they HAVE to trade him, i'd hold until a respectable offer is made just like the Jags did ignoring the 4th round picks until a 2nd was offered for Yan.

So how are they not supposed to give their point guard the ball exactly?

So how are they not supposed to give their point guard the ball exactly?

He doesn't have to shoot the ball.  Hell you could have him play a different position if you wanted to, dudes almost 7', I wouldn't have him play pg anyway.  He's not a bad passer, [BLEEP] you could have play the role of Doug Christie when he was with Sac.  There are other ways you could use him without shooting the ball

Boy, now there's something that shows your outstanding knowledge of basketball.  Wallace and Rodman were both power forwards.

So you don't give your point guard the ball.

Simmons is a great passer/facilitator and putting him at center (when you have the best center in the NBA in Embiid) is a pretty hot take there bud.

Well you said he’s 7 feet tall and could play another position.

So which one is it? Can’t be PG, SG or small forward since all of those spots require the person to be able to shoot.

So it’s power forward or center which again is redundant when you have Embiid.

Doug Christie played SF and he rarely shot the ball.  He was a lock down defender.

Doug Christie played SF and he rarely shot the ball.  He was a lock down defender.

And yet he shot 35% from 3.

And Christie was a shooting guard on those Kings teams because Peja was their small forward.

Yeah Peja was the SF my bad  but my point remains the same.  They didn't play Christie for his shooting Simmons can play multiple positions with his defense, passing, rebounding and can attack the basket.  There are other ways you can make an impact in a basketball game without shooting

Surprised no one pointed it out yet, but Kelce has never even played here before. The one time the Eagles played the Jags in his career was a London game. Weird to have zero experience and throw shade at it anyway.
