Biden's Energy Secretary Laughs When Asked if There Is a Plan to Bring Gas Prices Down
Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm laughed when asked what her plan is to boost domestic oil production in a bid to bring gas prices down.
During an interview on Friday, Bloomberg Radio host Tom Keene noted, “In Sturgis, Mich., it is $2.89 a gallon. I guess that’s better than in California.”

High gas prices are a good thing, to a point. They increase demand for and use of public transportation, and increase demand for hybrid and electric vehicles. All of which means cleaner air, less traffic, and less climate change.

This was all intentional. Cut oil and gas production, driving the price of gas and heating oil through the roof. Just wait until folks up north start seeing their home heating bills go up by 50% or more. The U.S. has more than enough oil and natural gas to be completely energy independent and even export the additional capacity, Combine this with inflation and the people hurt the most are those at the bottom end of the income scale.

This is all Biden's fault....... Canceling the Keytstone Pipeline and other things he has done to cripple the energy sector.... Biden Owns this and the people know it...... There are going to be a hell of a lot of pissed off people At the pumps, and those trying to heat their homes this winter
Yep, I don’t understand how it’s helping climate change by shutting down our production then begging countries that hate us to increase their volume. Is it somehow less harmful to the environment if Russia or OPEC produces the oil?

Anyhow, supposing we have, when supply goes down, yes, prices go up, but consumption also goes down. Reduced consumption of fossil fuels is good for the climate. You're right that Russian oil is just as harmful to the climate as American oil, but if prices are higher, volume should go down.

Gas prices aren't controlled by the USA in any capacity, but are actually historically low for an economic boom time (we're in a current boom recovery after Trump's recession of 2020). Anyone claiming they're too high right now is just playing politics.

Live by whatever standard you want, just don't complain when you pick one that leaves you paying more than you can afford for fuel.
Also, Tesla's are pretty f'in masculine, if you ask me. They can beat most production cars in a straight line race, for what that's worth.
