I noticed they started double-teaming him as the game went on.
Hard to believe, but true. The Buffalo Bills, one of the best offenses in the league, were double-teaming Taven Bryan.
Please more of that. This is what I remember when he played for the gators! The dude can be a beast.

Perhaps that's why they only scored 6 points. Idiotic offensive philosophy.
Using basketball analogy double teaming Taven is about as dumb as double teaming Ben Simmons.

Speaking of his stupidity, did you hear the exchange he had with Josh Allen and Smoot when they were on the sidelines asking if anyone was mike'd up and Taven said he wasn't mike'd up only to then state that Oh Yeh, I forgot I was mike'd up.

I don't know. When they didn't double-team him, he was shoving his way into the backfield.

That wasn't Taven Bryan. That was Josh Allen.
He apologized for not telling the guys he was miked up because they were all throwing around F bombs and didn't know he was miked up.

That's not how it works. You double team someone who is giving you a lot of problems. You dont just double team someone because its your scheme

Disagree. It's obviously both. You game plan to limit the star opponents impact so people like JJ Watt and Warren Sapp were double teamed from the 1st play of their games. Additionally, if a player who sucked in 79 games of his career is giving the opponent problems in his 80th game of his career, then perhaps you double team that player and consider waiving the offensive lineman you are currently using.
Trust me. I want Taven to succeed just like any other player but I need to see more playmaking to offset his suck [BLEEP] career.
That is impressive. Nelson is a beast and being able to push him around is no small feat.
He's had a few good games in a row now. Hopefully he¨ll show up on Sunday too. In that case i think it would be safe to say the coaching staff has figured out how to make Bryan good.
I had given up on the guy but sometimes it takes awhile. He was a first round draft choice but not a high one. Maybe this was a Caldwell hit after all.

And it's not like it was a Nelson's mistake or anything, Bryan gets all the credit.
Let's just hope he continues to play like this.

Bryan has shown more flashes in the last few weeks than the rest of us his time here combined. He has all the physical tools. Looks like the light may be coming on for him. If true, I and many others on this board deserve to eat some major crow because we all wanted him gone.

I wouldn't say the light bulb is on, not sure the power is turned on. I think they just told him, line up here, go forward when the ball moves.

That's the common speculation. What does he do well? He's really strong. So, don't overthink it. Just line him up and tell him to run over the OG.
