I'm fine Hurricane..... Just real tired, been having insomnia like crazy so.... Just been resting around the apartment taking naps as needed.. Between that, and I'm expecting a lot of packages, I've been home most afternoons, been having a major problem with a porch pirate in my building so I'm keeping a careful eye on things. I have been going to my favorite Tavern for lunch and few drinks in the afternoon so I am getting out some what. The food at my Tavern is excellent to say the least, and the lunch specials are usually in the $8.50 price range, plus, the portions are usually enough for 2 people.

Oh wow. Very cool. We used to pass through Frederick all of the time back in the early 90s (DC to Pittsburgh on weekends). That entire Market Street area looks so updated, like a very clean version of Old Town Alexandria, VA (without the ungodly prices either). $8 pitcher, $0.55 cent wings, and $3.50 burgers, $2 tacos ..... those specials are pretty incredible all week long. I recently paid $19 for a pitcher of Miller Lite down in Crystal City, VA.

Hurricane, Olde Towne Tavern is in reality the LAST Working Mans/Blue Collar Tavern in the area. Every other bar on Market street is kind of up-scale, they get the yuppie/hipster crowd with the prices to match so...... Olde Towne it is for good food, good company, and good times
I rarely go to bars, but that place looks like I would fit right in.

OTT is a good time and definitely one of the last old school bars. I feel like Wags is still old school too.
As long as the beer and company is good, I’m all in. When I was younger, the night before thanksgiving was one of my favorite nights to go out. Just awesome running into old high school friends and boozing til 2am. Then the thanksgiving day Turkey bowl at like 9am hit you quick.
Pretty wild that I’m sure our paths have crossed before Drifter and we didn’t even know it.

Dang ... I think we're all on the same page. Who would have ever thought that !!! Personally, I'd love to get up there over the Christmas holidays. Frederick isn't a small town by any means but it look like it still has that small town charm (as least it does from google maps). Time for a beer. All of this Tavern talk is making me thirsty !!!

Dang, I was just coming here to tell you that I was anticipating a bad day as my profits in COIN stock to be wiped out (down 10% in the premarket) but low and behold, Bitcoin just spiked $1,500 in the past 20 minutes so life is good after all. Definitely. I'll have to go old school with the $1 PBR happy hour special (nostalgic). Can't believe you can still find a $1 beer anywhere in the US, much less in what is now an extended suburb of DC.
Like I said before, Olde Towne Tavern, Good Food, Good Company, Good times...... It is just an old school working mans place that knows what the customer wants and provides excellent service. I know all of the day time bartenders by name and they know me. All they need to do it see me walk in the door and they have my usual drink 1/2 poured just waiting for me to find a seat at the bar.........
