Cam Newton agrees to return to Carolina Panthers as team struggles to find steady quarterback play
The last quarterback to lead the Carolina Panthers to the Super Bowl is coming back to the team that drafted him number 1 overall in 2011.
The Carolina Panthers made the announcement official on the team's website, after reports surfaced that Newton was meeting with the team Thursday.

They need to do something. Their game last Sunday was painful to watch. I was at my in-laws house and my FIL just kept shaking his head in dismay. Hopefully Newton will be able to help them out.
