In my opinion, people assume some form of risk when they attend such demonstrations that include looting and rioting. Additionally, hosting a parade (in a nearby town) days after a controversial verdict in which the national guard was called in to maintain law and order was show an extreme lack of judgment by the towns representatives.
The sad part is we have to continue to pretend the verdict was controversial when it was not and should not have been, at all.
No we don't, only by emphatically telling those morons to get bent will we have any chance against them short of violence.

Or.. you show them the consequences to their actions instead of locking them up like the animals they are.. I guarantee you most of them will think of their actions before committing again.
And let's not forget the justice system judges who let this career criminal walk on multiple occasions..
I think the last judge that let him walk has just the amount of blood on their hands as that low life sub human..
