Journalists at The New York Times looked into what happens when Democrats control all the levels of power in state and local governments across the U.S.
They found out that “blue states” — not red ones — “are the problem.”

I enjoyed this video. It has three parts, each part could be its own thread.
By the way, Florida is not perfect but we do really, really well on these three issues.

I watched that video a couple of weeks ago. It was very interesting. They finally figured out it's a class issue, not a race issue but I'm not sure they actually know they figured that out. The people with influence, whether democrat or republican, are the ones who make things happen. Or not happen.
