I damn sure wouldn’t be opening a door to that! He might as well said “Candy-gram for Mongo” or Landshark at that point!

I don’t know. The curiosity of “Candy-gram for Mongo” would most likely overcome my sense of danger. As a matter of fact, I would exclaim “No way!” in a delighted tone as I pulled on the door handle.

Maybe I should just let the students handle it.
Both parents being charged with four counts of involuntary manslaughter.

From what I have seen, they should face much more than that.  Who the hell buys a 15 year old a weapon like that as a "Christmas gift"?  Then they don't secure it?  The mother sends a text saying (paraphrasing) "learn how to not get caught".

1.  It's illegal for a person that young to own a handgun.

2.  Supervision and education is a MUST.

3.  Firearms should always be stored securely and in a responsible manner.

My grandson (12 years old) got a .22 rifle for Christmas last year, however it is locked up in my gun safe and he only gets to use it when he is under supervision.  He has also been through a hunter's safety class and knows how to responsibly handle firearms.
Parents have gone missing now.
I bet...

All true, but when the parents are irresponsible, who then has to take responsibility to prevent these needless deaths in the future?

Imagine holding the individual responsible with extreme prejudice so the next tick turd thinks twice about a repeat performance.
