Full Version: So suppose we once again have the #1 pick in the draft.

What's the move? For me it's simple. Pray someone falls in love with a QB, and is willing to give up a lot to trade for the first pick. We need more than 1 guy. (Duh)
No QB is going to go top 10 in this draft. Take your pick of the 2 edge rushers
Is the QB class this year that bad? When was the last time a QB didn’t go in the top 10?

2013 probably. One could still move up but not looking like top 5 for sure.
First, we're probably not getting R1 P1, second I don't trust the current regime to be savvy with any trade or wisdom regarding who they value, after last year's abhorrent choices.

That may be the worst thing about this year - at least in the past we had the blind hope that a high pick was going to bring promise, and that the arrow might finally start at least levelling, not even caring to point up at this stage. Every single prospect for our future rides on how Khan acts at season's end.

Pat Corral of Ole Miss might go top 10 for a team that is desperate. Gonna be a lot of attempted trading down in 2022.

This is right.

I heard ESPN's Todd McShay on the radio this morning.

He said the top QB in the 2022 draft would be 6th when compared/grouped with the 5 QBs that went in the first round this year, and two of them did not go in the top 10.

BUt then the combine happens and then all of a sudden everyone falls in love and then...top 5 pick
And then 5 years later, they're out of the league.
Seems to happen every other season.
