Awww man... Always enjoyed watching him.  RIP to a truly talented entertainer...It was shame that he was blacklisted, imagine how much he could have given us.

2022 is off to a sucky start
I never got into his movies much but was always impressed with his dignified comportment that lacked arrogance. Not many people can pull that off.

Imagine how much we could all do if we weren't constantly clouded by political garbage.
I do think it's funny that you sympathize for some "commie". Why is this guy any different than the people you dump on 5-12 times a day?

I remember watching the movie where he builds the "Shape" for the Mexican Nuns.  It was a lot for 7th graders on a rainy day.  But when I go back and watch it now.  Great movie.

I still get goosebumps when he slaps that moronic racist idiot redneck.  You know the guy who hates him for no good reason other than he's different.

"They call me Mr Tibbs!"

I wasn't aware he was a commie.

He was before may time really, but I really enjoyed the movies I saw him in. I read once that he was black listed by Hollywierd for some transgression and that's about all I know about it. To Sir with Love is one of my top 20 favorite movies of all time. So, if he was a communist, he didn't go out of his way to shove those ignorant views down everyone's throats
Interesting. I really had no idea. That's how different Hollywood is today compared to back then. Now they want you to know every dang thing about them good, bad or indifferent.
Holy crap. I just always assumed this person’s gender as a female. Go figure. I always knew “she” was famous and talented. But never saw her work. For almost 40 years I’ve always assumed it was a white chick and it’s a black man. One day I’ll get cultured. (No promises).
