I hate drafting TE high, but McBride sounds like he is going to be one of the rare ones that I think might be worth it. If Dotson is off the board I very well may be rooting for McBride at 33, and that says a ton knowing myself.

It seems most of the QBs (all but Pickett) measured shorter than expected.  All except Pickett were right around 6'.

Supposedly Willis had a good day, while Ridder did not.

I read an interesting article about Kenny Pickett and his hand size. Apparently he didn't allow his hands to be measured in Mobile. The article said that Pickett is double jointed and his fingers stick out a certain way which so far doesn't allow for an accurate measurement. It said he is working on finding a way to get an true measurement and that will be done at the Combine.
Interesting
Jermaine Johnson is a guy a hope is there at 33 if we don't take Hutch or Thibs

Usually with his hand in the dirt but I think he could be a OLB as well. I want to see how he moves at the combine

If we don't take Hutchinson or Thibodeaux, we've either traded down or we've made a HUGE mistake.

I have Johnson going #30 to Kansas City.
McBride is worth that 33rd overall selection. Wouldn't lose any sleep over that at all.

Jermaine Johnson is going closer to top 10 than 33.

Agreed.
Sounds like Malik Willis is trying to make a push and move up the draft boards.

From all reports, hes been far and away the most impressive QB at the Senior Bowl. Especially today in a wet and rainy downpour.
I've been checking out some reports and watching some video of the Senior Bowl practices and I've read several articles saying that Jalen Tolbert is the best WR there. I watched a video of him blowing by Derion Kendrick for a long TD and another where he caught a bomb from Malik Willis. TE Tre McBride is also looking very good as well. I'd be thrilled with either one of those guys at #33.

On the other side of the coin, OT Daniel Faalele is having a really rough go of it. He's just getting steamrolled so far. Size doesn't always equal good.

I have heard these reports.  Hopefully Willis continues to shine and shoots to the very top of the draft boards.

The brief clips I saw of Tolbert from the Tuesday practice showed him getting vertical separation when he had a clean release off the LOS, but I saw a play or two where he got jammed pretty well.  Also not overly impressed with his ability to run shorter routes/cut based solely on the clips of Tuesday's practice I saw.

I also saw a day 1 practice clip of Faalele being spun ff his feet like a top on Tuesday.  I have not read any reports of Wednesday's practice yet, but it would not be a shock if it continued.

The more I see of Penning, there is no way he lasts until the 2nd round.
Tolbert I felt was a 3rd to 4th RD prospect. Combine / Pro Day may bump him up a bit. Really looking forward to seeing Burks, London and another guy I want to mention in action at some point.

Corey Sutton. Really like this kid. I think he's a potential steal in RD6. Good size. Bounced back after an ACL in 2019 and sat out 2020. Had a good season last year at Appalachian St.

Also like Khalil Shakir.

Tolbert is a bit raw, but I see something in him that makes me believe he's gonna be a very good pro, if he gets with the right QB.

As for Penning, no way he falls to round 2. If he makes it passed the Titans, he certainly won't make it passed the Bengals.

Does anyone know why David Bell isn't playing in any all-star games? I've personally seen enough of him at Purdue to know I really, really like him and he would likely be my top target at #33 if he's there, but I thought he would play in one of the bigger all-star games.

Tonight at 8:00 p.m. EST on NFL Network is the East/West Shrine game. Some very good players will be featured in that game and some receivers I like a lot as well for the mid-late rounds including Jaivon Heiligh, Charleston Rambo, Jaquari Roberson, Samori Toure, Josh Johnson, Jerreth Sterns and Tyquan Thornton.
I would not take Tolbert at 33. No way. He's just the best of a bad group since Dotson dropped out.

Same. I would consider him maybe in RD3 with the 2nd pick of RD3. Depends on the value overall on the board. I think RT/LT is going to be high on their draft board in that RD3 if they don't luck out and land a guy like Raimann or Penning at 33.

I'm praying Louisiana OT Max Mitchell falls to us in round 3. He's the only OT in this class I really like, who we have a shot at. I haven't had a chance to see Braxton Jones of Southern Utah though. I'm hearing really good things about him. I can't wait to see what he can do, since it's such a weak OT class.
I’m a big fan of Zion Johnson.

Agreed, if he is sitting there in the 3rd it would be nice

Thoughts on Goedeke?

Maybe the best pure OG in the draft.
