Right. That's not really news because Jordan has consistently said they spoke multiple times that day.
But Jordan has never said what they spoke about, and we still don't know to what extent Jordan or Trump predicted or planned for the attack on Congress.  Obviously Jordan should be subpoenaed about it so we can get the full story, right?

Sure, let's have the KGB pick him up.  Oh wait, this is the US.  I think we need some shred of evidence to support the allegations first.
The last response to the question was 2 days ago. It's being derailed because no one else is responding.

It's insanity that you think like this. That's what you think they talked about? Planning an attack on the capitol? You are so freaking stupid sometimes. And it's not just you. The problem in this country is the multitude of yous.

This is exhibit A to what I was referencing earlier. Stop buying into this profit-driven media [BLEEP].

It's a hard question for people like me to respond to, since I am a registered Independent. I don't adhere to any political agenda. I just vote who I feel represents me the best, no matter what party they belong to. My opinions on issues are all over the place. Most of what I believe is pretty radical, some liberal, some conservative. I don't really believe in political parties at all. They tend to create a "gang mentality." I wish we could get rid of the labels and just have people vote who the believe the bet candidate is, without feeling like they have to stick with some political agenda. I guess that's pretty radical. I believe in completely disbanding all political parties.
I don't think it's that radical. I think there are a LOT of people that consider themselves independent. I mean, look at this board... almost nobody is a tried-and-true republican or democrat. The problem is more about the way we consume news coupled with the limited options for candidates. The news picks their candidates, tells you they are the only one that can win, then tells you to go vote or watch your dreams die.

I can't be sure, but I think a lot of people on this board probably fail to get a balanced news feed.  It's all Fox News and some wacky website on the far right, or it's CNN and MSNBC.  They take one side and shun the other side.  People don't like intellectual dissonance.  They don't like to have their political views challenged.  They like to have their opinions fed to them.

What do you think they talked about?  They obviously talked about what they thought was about to happen that day.  Did Trump think things would play out as they did? I doubt Jordan has any smoking gun or definitive answer to that question, but he has part of the answer for sure.

The so-called "tribe mentality" fueled by too many people from across the spectrum will never allow the getting rid of labels.

For reasons unknown to me people feel like they have to belong to one side or the other of pretty much every issue, group, party, race, religion, and everything else under the sun. It's Us vs Them; This vs That; Black vs White (not in a racial way, just an opposites way) and so on. God forbid we ever meet in the middle on any given issue at any given time. We can thank the media- ALL of the media, big tech, social media and "opinion pieces" stated as fact for pitting us against each other.

If you want to discuss Jan 6 then make a thread about it and discuss it there instead of hijacking every other political thread.
I may vote Libertarian and have my values/beliefs/convictions/standards but who I am, what I stand for and what I believe cannot be wrapped up in a box labeled "Libertarian." It's not that simple. I used to be more idealistic with my views but life has shown me that nothing is as simple as what I want to be true. Life is about what is actually happening and none of it fits into any one box or label or belief, nor is life's problems solved by any one solution.

Our decisions don't affect only us in our vacuum because none of us lives in one.

To me the radicals are the ones who push agendas that only serve their beliefs/values/convictions/standards and don't take into consideration the fact that their way is not the best for everyone as a whole.

That's good advice.  Sneakers brought up Jan 6 on this thread, for what it's worth.

You really are a child. Rolleyes
I didn't have an answer because I don't consider myself a radical.
I think both parties have radical ideas and radical people and I usually find myself in between them in that case.
The closest I get to a radical idea, I think, is my belief that abortion is should only ever be done to save the mother's life. But even there I moderate a bit. I don't think the women should be punished, only the doctors. And I think we should reduce the rate not just with laws but also by making birth control free and lowering taxes on anyone raising young children.
I strongly disagree with the open borders and zero restrictions on drug use policies by the libertarian party.

Apparently all conservatives hate gays. Which is really going to crush my conservative gay dad…lol

Pete Buttigieg is your dad?
As a very moderate dem, I think my most radical position is that we need to defund the Anthropologists. I mean seriously, does anyone really believe the exact timing that the dinosaurs lived here on earth. 65 million years ago ?? I mean seriously, Jesus was only here 2,000 years ago so how the heck does one track an animal back to 65 million years ago.

DEFUND THE ANTHROPOLOGISTS NOW !!!

This Libertarian strongly disagrees with those as well. Realistically society can't have zero restrictions on almost anything.

Defund Anthropologie? Why? We can track the age of those clothes easily.

You want abortion to be a criminal act, but not hold the principal participant accountable?
The principal participant is the one performing the service. I feel the same about drug use. Get the dealers, not the user. Same with illegal streaming.
