Meyer landed Bevell as the OC and Farrell & Tebow to secure the TE position.  We definitely won the offseason.

We had the fewest points under Bevell, Farrell had a breakout year with 56 receiving yards, and Tebow was cut prior to the season.  Not to shabby overall.

With a rookie QB and roster that needed a major overhaul. If your expectations were that unrealistic, that's on you.
The first season game for jags in this season that has just past

Ended like a wet fart, a lot of building up and hype....and boom

The funny thing is there were a lot of people around here praising last year's FA haul. I know it was purely biased, but still.

there were?
dang, I gotta lay off the sauce.

Griffin was a late signing and probably the biggest name. My recollection was everyone wetting the bed over dumping $21M on a converted CB trying to learn WR and a Burrs reserve with three names on day one free agency.

I mean, we *did* get 100 pages out of one of the FA signings, so there definitely was some fervor.

We also made the only S&C coach hire that could ever get people talking about an S&C coach, gotta give credit where it's due.

Don't forget Carlos Hyde's mind-blowing 253 yards at a blistering 3.5 yards per carry
You have to admit that Marvin was a very good signing.

He was solid. He really was. I think had Chark managed to play a full year it would have potentially balanced out nicely between the two of them.

Feels like hoping Linder plays a full season.
Its extremely frustrating to only have the offseason winning feeling lol
US JAGS fans get the excitement of a huge salary space and unbelievable draft picks. Then we get to see how we dont land any significant free agents to improve the weak spots. I truly hope this offseason the jags can go after and land some special players like similar to the ones that led to the success in 2017.

For Jag fans, the off season is the most exciting part of the season. So sad

Even if we don't get any new big name in the Front Office, landing Pederson has to count as a pretty big win.

The results on the field are completely independent of whether or not we win the offseason.  I mean, we win the off-season pretty much every year, and then they play the games where we find out it was all bs.
Boy...cott!
I always quite disliked Urban Meyer, so to me, last offseason was a major loss. But really, I never get too excited or too disappointed with an offseason.
Do we resign DJ Chark or go after A-Rob? Can we afford both!? Why not?

That would be fine but they need to find a #1 I don't think either are that or I should say need a deep threat #1.
