If the Jags offer more money then they will come here. If you were to interview players from the 1990s and asked them if they are happy with picking a playoff team with a $5 million contract versus a terrible team with a $10 million contract, the answer is obvious. Vic always said it’s about the money.
Playoff teams have needs too and there are 14 of them. What free agent could possibly be worth 5 million a year more to us than to any of them?
