Don't mind this TBH. Didn't workout with Coughlin. Could've been too much power struggle.

It had nothing to do with the structure. It had everything to do with Coughlin wanting total control. He and Baalke have very similar personalities. Neither one plays well with other people.

might need to be more specific, you see one, there's likely 50 more behind the woodwork. Seems our building has an infestation.

You don't mind the owner rescinding a public pledge to address the biggest issue that hindered what should have been a fairly cut and dried coaching search? Doesn't have to be a power struggle if everyone knows their place on the totem pole, and understands that everyone is part of the same team. Part of the responsibility of a hiring team is to find the candidate who embodies that spirit of collaboration and leadership, rather than one who is going to overstep their authority or undercut their staff's efforts, as was the case with Coughlin.
It's shenanigans like this that will keep the grease paint sales in Duval going.

Baalke has a very unique skillset.. he sucks at everything football.. be he definitely knows how to con billionaires... he's just the right amount of sycophantic to ownership while still playing the role of subtle backstabber to all others that come close.

The armchair GMs on here provide good comic relief, for what it's worth.
But this latest development is more a testament of the positivity going on with the organization. Khan still can add voices to the front office structure, but for the moment, he sees a dynamic cohesion between Pederson and Baalke that he trusts will pay off into the solid development of the roster. So it makes no sense to interrupt that progress.
Time will tell, but I have no reason not to share in that trust.

Not even close.
Was TC a snake just like Baalke?
TC won 2 SBs
TC imo was too old and cameback to his old self and obviously hurt the team but I think he was here trying to help. Baalke just trying to save his [BLEEP] and name.
More than control TC was too much of a disciplinarian

Shad has made poor decision in who to trust and his judgement on FO cohesion and mentality every since he has owned the team.
He has lost the trust of most of the board because of it, and no longer gets benefit of doubt. So most of us need to see the prove before we will believe in his decisions.
